Eric June Update

Hey Friends and Family,

We went in for the follow up scan  for Eric. His last treatment was 4 weeks ago. There is tumor growth unfortunately. The bone metasisis is 19.6 SUV which is fairly large now. All the others have grown except the clavicle which has stayed the same size, 7.4 SUV. He now has two new tumors both on the left side now so the cancer has spread to the left side. The two new ones are on the left lateral chest wall which is 8.5 SUV and the other new one is on the lower anterior abdominal wall with the SUV being 10.7.

The positive is that it still is not in a major organ outside of the bone such as the lungs or liver.

I think this time he was a little more discouraged because we were hoping for some change. Prayerfully the next scan might show some decrease.

He will sit out of any treatment for the next 12 weeks. They do want to do an xray on his right pelvic bone which is where the largest tumor is to see if they could possibly do radiation. The problem with that is there might be a hole there and that could potentially cause more problems.

We are still praying for healing but definitely looking to glorify God daily despite the not so good news. He is a trooper that is for sure.

Thank you for your prayers and your kindness during such a difficult time.

Blessings,
Michelle
